Professional and Ethical Responsibilities
Over the past two years, I have recognized the various responsibilities I have to the profession of student affairs. I am responsible for contributing to the well being of students, the growth of education and the field of student affairs, and maintaining a concentration on doing no harm to those that I interact with. Through my position on the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) Board of Directors, I have worked to fulfill these responsibilities and have learned that I have the duty of advancing higher education. I was able to take part in many discussion to enhance campus activities through NACA, work to maintain the ethical standards of an organization, and discuss our duties as professionals in the functional area of student activities.

Learning as a Continual Process
In our Advanced Practicum course, we were tasked with developing our personal pedagogy for teaching and learning. One of the crucial elements I identified as a part of teaching and learning is continual education. There are many ways to relay information to students, but if they do not possess the willingness and desire to continue education, then we are at a loss as professionals. I possess a passion for learning and will continue to gain knowledge and skills as I grow and develop into a competent student affairs professional.
